The Benefice consists of the five neighbouring parishes of Risby, Barrow, Great Saxham, Little Saxham and Westley. The previous Rector lived in Risby, but the current one lives in Barrow.
The identity of the five parishes themselves is not affected; each of them remains a separate parish, with its own parish church and parochical organisation (except that Great and Little Saxham are combined as 'The Saxhams' for Parish Council purposes).
The only essential link between them is that their combined incumbencies have become a single office, held by a single incumbent whom they share.
Following the sad death in 2000 of the Reverend Chris Rogers, there was no Rector for the Benefice for over a year. The new incumbent commenced on Saturday 26 January 2002 (see Latest News for more information).
